2018 Winner

Keith Simmons from Flowright Services J&E Hall

Keith has been in the industry for over 45 years. 17 of these with his current employer.  His employer said “Nothing is too much trouble. He often spends his own time working to help out less experience engineers, he has a great knowledge of the industry, an exemplary attitude and is a major asset to our engineering team”.  He started as a mechanical engineer in camera film production lines and joined the industry after speaking to a couple of carrier engineers who had come in to the fix the equipment.  He retrained and was soon out on the road working for companies like Total Refrigeration, Stanleys, PNS Williams and more recently Flowright.  After 45 years he still enjoys keeping up to date, methodically working through and solving problems, helping the more junior engineers and making sure the customer is happy when he leaves.  “I don’t expect anything other than a thank you for a job well done”.
