How to join the conference

All presenters will be registered for the conference by the organisers. Joining links for the online platforms will be sent by email no later than 14th April. 

Use the Go To Webinar Link for the Main Conference Room to join the conference. 

For the session that includes your paper presentation join the session 5 minutes before the scheduled start time.  

Before the session begins presenters will be asked to raise their your hand and will be made a panels. this will enable presenter to answer question form the audience. A presenters briefing note can be viewed here. 

Full joining instructions will be sent by email to presenter by the 14th April.

 

Prepare your presentation

It is now time to prepare your presentation.

 

Your oral presentation 

  • A provisional programme for the conference will be released on the 17th of March. This is a provisional programme and subject to authors supply a revised manuscript if mandatory revisions are requested by the peer-review process. 
  • All presenting authors will need to pre-recorded their presentations. This will be done using Go To Webinar. 

 

All those accepting the invitation present a paper must be aware that:

  • Authors must present their papers at the conference.
  • Authors must pre-record their talk, and be present online when their paper is broadcast so that they can answer questions.
  • The allocation of papers to streams and themes is at the discretion of the conference organisers and papers may be moved to an alternative stream.
  • All authors shall take into account reviewers’ recommendations and comply with the review-process deadlines.
  • All authors shall comply with the document entitled “Guidelines for Authors on the Presentation of Manuscripts” which will be provided. This will ensure the manuscript is formatted correctly.
  • Papers presented at the conference will be published by the IOR as a conference proceeding and the IOR shall own the copyright of the proceedings. Authors may publish updated versions of their papers once the conference has taken place. The information included in the papers present at the conference may be included in the Beyond Refrigeration Roadmap being produced by the IOR.
