A special event at the IIR International Rankine 2020 Conference – Advances in Cooling, Heating and Power Generation

 

This event will celebrate the engineering powerhouse and polymath that was William Rankine. 

The conference is timed to coincide with the bi-centenary of the birth of William Rankine and will take place in the university where Rankine studied and taught.

The conference will celebrate the legacy of WJM Rankine, whose name is now synonymous with the power generation cycle, in this special event. 

The event will open the conference and the audience will include the Rankine 2020 delegates, members of local Scottish Engineering Societies and the University of Glasgow students and alumni.

The programme will explore subjects that William Rankine studied, taught and influenced.

This event is part of the Rankine 2020 Conference. All conference delegates will be registered to attend. 

Non-Conference delegate

To celebrate William Rankine's strong connections to the City of Glasgow a number of places at this event will be made available to members of local Scottish Engineering Societies and the University of Glasgow students and alumni. Booking will be essential and will open in April 2020.
