Exciting New Venue for the IOR Annual Dinner

The 124th IOR Annual Dinner will take place on the 27th of February 2025.

The IOR is delighted to announce that the Dinner will take place at The London Hilton Bankside. Located on the historic London Southbank,  this luxurious hotel is just a stone's throw from the City of London and sits in the shadow of the iconic Tate Modern.  Our new venue blends modern luxury with an urban edge, providing a stylish and sophisticated setting for an unforgettable evening. 

Members and guests will celebrate their industry at the original “Fridge” Dinner, and support the Institute of Refrigeration's work in education and promoting industry standards. The evening is a great opportunity to catch up with old friends, spend time with your customers and meet new contacts - at the same time as having a thoroughly enjoyable and entertaining evening with a guest speaker.

Tickets for members are £187 + VAT. Companies and individuals can book tickets in any amount and be seated at a mixed or take a whole table to themselves of either 10 or 12. (Tables of 12 are limited)

IOR Awards recognise the dedication and individual achievement of people in our industry, from young researchers to experienced service engineers.

• J&E Hall Gold Medal for outstanding technical achievement established by and presented in association with J&E Hall International
• Ted Perry Award for student research and innovation established by a trust gift from the Perry Family 
• The Kenneth Lightfoot Medal for the best paper presented to IOR last year, made in association with Lightfoot Defence
• Service Engineer Lifetime Achievement Award sponsored by the ACR Journal
