Guidelines for Life Cycle Climate Performance
The International Institute of Refrigeration Working Group has recentlypublished a set of Guidelines for Life Cycle Climate Performance. This is designed to address the issue of using comprehensive indicators to estimate real greenhouse gases emissions of systems over their lifetime. These guidelines provides a harmonised method to calculate the Life Cycle Climate Performance (LCCP) for all types of stationary air conditioning, heat pumping and refrigeration systems.
The IOR is the UK representative body for this inter-governmental organisation and maintains the UK membership on behalf of the sector.
