Denmark introduced a general ban on the use of HFC refrigerants in January 2007. This has had a major impact on the Danish refrigeration industry - although it has not changed everyday life. This papers aims to give insights into changes in the market in Denmark as a result of the ban; the major hurdles which have had to be overcome; the impact this has had on new systems being installed and what will the future bring ?
