This latest IOR Education and Skills Policy group Guidance Note provides a summary of how you can register.  IOR Fellow, Member, Associate and Technician members are eligible to apply for Engineering Council Registration through a joint agreement with CIBSE (You do not need to be a CIBSE member or apply for CIBSE membership and you can swap your registration from CIBSE to IOR!).

Engineering Council registration gives you:

  • national recognition of your skills and status in the engineering profession
  • designatory initials after your name (CEng, IEng or EngTech)
  • evidence of your commitment to your Continued Professional Development, ethical standards and sustainability.

Download the free guide from the IOR website here https://ior.org.uk/technical/rachp-technical?id=705&state=b

Or join the Network for IOR members preparing their application forms for hints and tips from those who have successfully registered through this scheme. The next meeting will be on 6th January. Sign up here to register or receive a recording and invitations to future events.
