Terms and Conditions of membership
In applying to join the Institute of Refrigeration (Charitable Incorporated Organisation 1166869) I confirm my understanding of the following terms of membership:
- That the statements made by me on my application form are accurate to the best of my knowledge.
- That the grade of membership allocated will be decided by the IOR Membership Committee and that I will have the right to query and appeal if necessary.
- That I will adhere to IOR membership policies on Code of Conduct, Continuous Professional Development and Use of IOR logo as published on the IOR website under "policies and practices"
- That I am responsible for advising the IOR of any changes to my contact details or personal information to ensure that the data held about me is accurate.
- I agree to pay the annual membership subscription as approved at the AGM until such time as I advise the IOR Membership Secretary that I wish to cease my membership.
I also hereby give my consent to the following:
- The IOR may hold data provided on this application form and held on this website about my membership electronically or in paper records for the purposes of keeping a register of its members.
- The IOR may contact me by post, telephone or electronically with news, updates, technical information and invoicing information, and understand that the IOR will not release my data to third parties.
- I agree with the terms and conditions of use of this website as published on the website.
