Overview

The IOR's RACHP Engineering Technicians section is a subscription service for those who want to be kept up to date with good practice guides, news and other technical information for technicians, service engineers and installers.

The Section is organising a Q&A Webinar on refrigerant options for small bespoke cold rooms on Wednesday 28^th April at 7 pm. This will be a discussion session with short introductions to the issues from various points of view, followed by an interactive question and answer session with the audience. We expect there to be more questions than answers, so a follow-up guidance or event is likely to pick up any outstanding themes.

The discussion hosts will be:

Graeme Fox, IOR Board Trustee and BESA Head of Technical talking about the legislative framework around F Gas Regulations that says what we can and cannot do now and in the future as the phase-down of high GWP refrigerants takes shape.
Bob Wright of Adcock Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, will share the kinds of practical questions that customers are asking about this complicated area as they make important business and investment decisions about future equipment purchase.
Adam Radford of TF Solutions will speak from the point of view of a wholesaler about the kinds of questions and issues that they are dealing with from the supply and component aspect.
