Why are we having a World Refrigeration Day on 26th June?  The benefits of the services offered by refrigeration, air conditioning and heat pumps are not very well recognised by the general public. So the whole community is joining together to promote what our sector does for the world and show what great career opportunities are available.  We need you, our members, to help make this a high profile day and tell the world how great the little understood world of refrigeration is!

If your company has a twitter or facebook account please make sure you post something on 26th June about your business and your people and what a fantastic contribution you are making.

  • Use Twitter #wrefd19, @worldrefday  and @thecoolinghub to post pictures of your events and stories on the day
  • Join our Facebook Live talks on the importance of refrigeration start at 10am and go through til 1pm.  Register here
  • Encourage your colleagues to get involved and don't forget, the IOR is offering new members who join a one-off discount on the first years joining fee if they apply before 26th June.  Join up now!

See the full events list here  We are adding more international and on line events as we find out about them.
