Training courses in Scotland

 

Hydrocarbon Training Course - City & Guilds 6187-21 - Week Commencing 10th February

The Scottish Branch of the Institute of Refrigeration will be holding a hydrocarbon training courses in Glasgow.  

To attend this course engineers must already hold a City & Guilds 2079 qualification. 

The cost of the course is £200 plus VAT per engineer. 

 

The course includes information on 

  • Risk assessment
  • List and wear correct PPE
  • List materials/tools required to complete tasks
  • How to cordon off a safe working area
  • Ensure adequate ventilation
  • Monitor area hydrocarbon leakage
  • Calculate safe fill weight for recovered hydrocarbon
  • Recover hydrocarbon
  • Vacuum
  • Charge hydrocarbon
  • Un-braze and re-braze hydrocarbon fitting

City & Guilds Level 2 Diploma 

Glasgow Kelvin College offer a City & Guilds Level 2 Diploma evening course as well as full-time training for apprentices and F Gas qualifications.
