Tomorrow s engineers 2019Less than a week to go until Tomorrow’s Engineer Week (4 to 8 November 2019), a growing campaign which aims to inspire young people to consider a career in engineering. The IOR is actively supporting this initiative which has reached over 300,000 people in the past year and is looking to expand further with the aim to create a national network of employers offering effective career interventions. This year’s edition will focus on engineering’s impact on health and wellbeing with RACHP being a key element of people’s improved health and welfare. From safe food and vaccine storage to temperature control in buildings, refrigeration and air-conditioning have made a great contribution to well-being. Tomorrow’s Engineer Week is a great opportunity for young people to try their hand at the principle of RACHP and our educational web site www.fantasticfridges.com is teeming with ideas of experiments to try in the classroom.

Come up with your own experiment and your school could be in with a chance to win a prize of science equipment worth £2,000! More at https://bit.ly/2JxYMJV
