Organisers for the 13th International Conference on Compressors and their Systems are now calling for Abstracts.
The theme for the conference is “Compressors and Expanders in Future Energy Systems" and the panel will consider papers related to all types of compressors, expanders and their systems including but not limited to: reciprocating, diaphragm, turbo, axial, scroll, screw, vane, rotary and all other types of compressors and expanders.

IOR has published its latest Education Guidance Note in the series, this time focusing on Coaching as a way of employers supporting engineering and technician development. The Guidance Note (16) gives a guide to understanding the benefits of coaching, how this differs from mentoring and includes a useful list of organisations who can offer help with setting up coaching schemes or offer coaching.
