The paper for the 8 February talk led by 2022/23 Ted Perry Award Winner Henrique Lagoeiro on recovering waste heat from the Underground is now available here.
The presentation will spotlight an inventive heat pump system specifically crafted to capture waste heat from the London Underground. It will look at the potential benefits in terms of energy efficiency and emission reductions while exploring the prospects of achieving further reductions by integrating heating and cooling processes.

IOR has published its latest Education Guidance Note in the series, this time focusing on Coaching as a way of employers supporting engineering and technician development. The Guidance Note (16) gives a guide to understanding the benefits of coaching, how this differs from mentoring and includes a useful list of organisations who can offer help with setting up coaching schemes or offer coaching.
