The IOR Guidance on Safe Working on Cold Store Ceilings (GN38) has recently been revised with the addition of an Annex "Guidance on Inspection of Cold Store Ceilings" which provides advice for cold store owners and operators on a method statement for the inspection of their facility. The guidance relates specifically to insulated cold and chill stores that are constructed within a building structure with ceiling panels that are supported by that structure, typically using drop rods suspended from a portal frame or building truss. It is being made available here as a free download to members and non-members as guidance on safety.
