Ian Ramsey squareIan Ramsay, a Fellow of the Institute of Refrigeration has sadly passed away following a short illness on 21st of January – having just turned 74. Ian started his career as precision tool maker before beginning a 50+ year career in the refrigeration industry. During the early 1980’s, Ian developed White Rose Software. A highly intelligent man who could be outspoken at times but always respected, Ian will be missed by many in our industry who have relied on his expertise for over 50-years. The IOR would like to offer its condolences to his wife Sandra and daughter Estelle.
