This example of an oil sample report is designed to supplement Guidance Note 28.1 on Oil Analysis and Recovery.

The condition of the oil may indicate contaminant levels and may also provide information about overheating and other system faults in a refrigeration system. From sample tests a laboratory can report on the oil condition. Guidance Note 28.1 includes sections on Analysis report information, Interpretation of results and Practical points about taking the samples.
