Working in partnership, the BRA and IOR have revised Part 2 of the Guide to Good Commercial Refrigeration Practice series. This series was produced to ensure good practice guidelines are available to the refrigeration, heat pump and air conditioning professional community and reflect both organisations ongoing commitment to that purpose.
This title is the second part of a nine-titled series that covers all the disciplines of commercial refrigeration. Part 2: System Design and Component Selection focuses on the complex area of system design in conjunction with safety and environmental considerations.

IOR has published its latest Education Guidance Note in the series, this time focusing on Coaching as a way of employers supporting engineering and technician development. The Guidance Note (16) gives a guide to understanding the benefits of coaching, how this differs from mentoring and includes a useful list of organisations who can offer help with setting up coaching schemes or offer coaching.
