On the 22nd June the IOR Women in RACHP Network will hold a training day to celebrate the 2018 International Women in Engineering Day. The theme of the 2018 event is ‘Raising the Bar’ and the day is open to anyone working in, or who has an interest in, the refrigeration air conditioning and heat pump sector.
The day will be a mix of personal development and practical hands on experience.
The morning session is a beginners guide to service and maintenance. Those attending will gain a better understanding of the importance of servicing and maintaining equipment and also the role of a service engineer. This is a practical session for both technical and non-technical staff.
The afternoon workshop will look at ways to change your thinking and in turn change how you react to situations, to get the best outcome possible.

1.00 pm Get clear, get confident - a masterclass in gaining focus and staying motivated
In this interactive workshop you will begin to understand the behaviours that may be holding you back. We will look at ways to change your thinking and in turn change how you react to situations, getting the best outcome possible.
You will gain clarity on what you really want and how you might achieve it, with clear goals set.
You will leave with a number of effective techniques that you can use every day to ensure you stay focused and motivated whilst acting with more confidence both at work and at home.
This workshop is for anyone looking to develop their understanding of their own behaviours, how changing what we think affects our actions and ultimately the confidence we feel.
This session will be delivered by Lisa Walker a Master Practitioner of NLP & Master Coach.
Places are limited and delegates will receive a CPD certificate on completing the course.
