Join the IOR in celebrating World Refrigeration Day World Refrigeration Day is an industry-wide international collaborative initiative initiated by IOR President-Elect Steve Gill FInstR. Since its conception in 2019, the IOR has actively supported WRD and continues to organise events and campaigns to promote the value of our industry to society.
This 26th June, join the Institute of Refrigeration in celebrating World Refrigeration Day 2026. The theme is #CoolIntelligence, which recognises the knowledge, skills and innovation that keep cooling, heating and air conditioning systems working safely, efficiently and sustainably.
Throughout the day, we will be showcasing the people, partnerships and expertise that drive our industry forward, from a special webinar exploring the lasting impact of Lord Kelvin, to new podcast episodes highlighting industry achievements, including the Industry Skill Alliance and 10 years of the Women in RACHP Network. Together, these activities reflect the spirit of our sector: always learning, always innovating and always moving forward.
