On the 8th March the SIRACH Network will visit the Kelvion research and development laboratory in Fareham for an event that will focus on advances in heat exchangers for heating and cooling.
Delegates will have the opportunity to tour of the state-of-the-art testing facility that includes an air flow test rig, an inner calorimeter room, an environmental test chamber, as well as a connected, smaller air flow chamber to enable measuring heat transfer coefficients. A hot-water system for testing dry coolers and a refrigeration pack for testing coolers and condensers. In addition is an R507 refrigeration pack, a state-of-the-art transcritical CO2 refrigeration plant and a X-ray micro-tomography system.
