Join this CoolTalk to explore the practical considerations involved in retrofitting doors and find out how the new Technology Brief can support those working with commercial refrigeration systems.
Open-fronted display cabinets are widely used in commercial refrigeration, but retrofitting doors can present a number of practical considerations for end-users and those involved in the design, installation and maintenance of refrigeration systems.
This CoolTalk will introduce the new IOR Technology Brief and provide an opportunity to learn more about the issues that should be considered when retrofitting doors to existing open-fronted display cabinets.
The session will also place the guidance in the context of the IOR's wider environmental work and the findings of the Transport, Industrial and Commercial Refrigeration (TICR) project, which investigated energy use and greenhouse gas emissions across the TICR sectors.
The webinar will provide an opportunity to:
Chris Griffiths, a Technical Manager in Refrigeration and HVAC consulting with 14 years' of experience in service, design and project management of retail, commercial and light industrial installations.
This CoolTalk forms part of a series of Technology Briefs and webinars produced by the IOR Environmental Committee to share practical information and support the industry in reducing energy use and greenhouse gas emissions. The first Technology Brief in the series focused on Heat Recovery. The Technology Briefs are available to download free of charge from the IOR's RACHP Publications page

CPD certificates for this webinar are available to IOR members on request.
