It will explore the commercial consequences of inaction, particularly for energy-intensive sectors such as cold storage and heat pumps, while also highlighting the opportunities created through early adaptation and investment.

The session will also consider what can be learned from the international community, showcasing examples of how other countries and markets are approaching grid resilience, electrification, energy efficiency and the integration of emerging technologies.

Andrea Voigt

Andrea is Vice-President, Global Public Affairs & Sustainability, at Danfoss Climate Solutions, a global leader in energy efficiency and decarbonization technologies. She joined Danfoss in 2021, her experience in the heating and cooling industry spans over two decades

Prior to Danfoss, for 12 years, she was Director General of the European Partnership for Energy and the Environment (EPEE), a major Brussels-based industry association advocating for sustainable heating and cooling technologies in buildings, industry and the cold chain at EU and at global level. Previous assignments included senior roles in sales, marketing and communication. 

 Andrea is a member of the Refrigeration, Air Conditioning and Heat Pump Technical Options Committee (RTOC) under the United Nations’ Montreal Protocol. She is also member of the Board of the European Heat Pump Association (EHPA), Euroheat & Power (EHP) and EPEE.

She holds degrees from executive education programs at INSEAD, University of Oxford and LSE, as well as master degrees in Public Administration and Linguistic Science.
