Bookings opening soon. Hold the date.
Date: Monday, 7th October
Time: 11:00 am – 1:00 pm
Location: Queens Quay Energy Centre, Clydebank
Join the Women in RACHP Network for a guided tour of the Queens Quay Energy Centre, home to the UK’s largest water source heat pump project. This landmark scheme is transforming how heat is delivered to local communities by drawing energy from the River Clyde and distributing it through an underground district heating network.
At the heart of the project is Scotland’s first major water source heat pump, an innovative system providing low-carbon heating to nearby homes and businesses. The tour offers a rare opportunity to step inside the energy centre, hear directly about its development, and see how large-scale heat pump technology is being applied in practice.
This event is open to all and will be of particular interest to anyone working in, or curious about, sustainable heating and cooling technologies. Alongside the technical insight, it’s also a chance to connect with fellow professionals and meet members of the IOR’s WiRACHP Network.
