Join the Institute of Refrigeration Ireland for an event marking the life and legacy of Lord Kelvin in his hometown of Belfast. This in-person presentation held on 26th June celebrates the 200th Anniversary of Lord Kelvin, whose name is forever associated with refrigeration and the temperature scale used to pinpoint Absolute Zero, and World Refrigeration Day.
This webinar is free to attend (subject to seating capacity) but registration is required. To commemorate the event, those who register and attend will be entered into a unique draw for a piece of the first successful transatlantic telegraph cable. This is from the actual cable laid in 1866 and engineered by William Thomson.
