International Cold Chain Sustainability experts join IOR on line conference this April 2022

The IOR is hosting the 7th IIR International Conference on Sustainability and the Cold Chain this April and in keeping with the theme it will be held on line – allowing people to attend from all over the globe and to reduce its carbon footprint.  The programme is shaping up with over 60 sessions expected to take place over the three days. Key note talks and Technical Papers will explore cold chain innovation, developments in refrigeration technology and design, building sustainable cold chains in developing nations, and addressing key UN sustainable development goals. In addition our Coffee Lounges will give everyone who takes part a chance to interact with some of the leading people working on this topic, with hosted interviews, discussions and Q&A.  All sessions will be recorded and available to catch up on demand if you miss any of the live talks.  Find out more and register at www.iccc2022.org

New IOR Guidance Note on Coaching

IOR has published its latest Education Guidance Note in the series, this time focusing on Coaching as a way of employers supporting engineering and technician development.  The Guidance Note (16) gives a guide to understanding the benefits of coaching, how this differs from mentoring and includes a useful list of organisations who can offer help with setting up coaching schemes or offer coaching.
