The course has three modules. The modules will share best practice as well as common mistakes made when designing, installing and running heating systems based on heat pumps.

It is not necessary to attend all three modules however a basic understanding of heat pumps is required to take part in modules 2 and 3. The modules will not explain how to design a system but focus solely on how to maximise efficiency when doing so.

The Guidance Note (16) gives a guide to understanding the benefits of coaching, how this differs from mentoring and includes a useful list of organisations who can offer help with setting up coaching schemes or offer coaching.
