With Heat Pump technology and policies in the news the IOR has two events on heat pumps scheduled over the next couple of weeks for you to find out more.
On 9 November, we will be hosting Heat Pumps - the Behaviour of the Heating System - Module 3 Retrofitting which will explore what needs to be considered when retrofitting an existing building to accommodate a heat pump as the main source of heating. Find out more and book your place here.

IOR has published its latest Education Guidance Note in the series, this time focusing on Coaching as a way of employers supporting engineering and technician development. The Guidance Note (16) gives a guide to understanding the benefits of coaching, how this differs from mentoring and includes a useful list of organisations who can offer help with setting up coaching schemes or offer coaching.
