Individuals join the IOR because they are specialists in their field. So whether you are a student, apprentice, designer, installer, teacher, manufacturer, business leader, sales person or researcher, the IOR brings the whole industry together to address common interests:

Environment - exploring routes to net zero through improved maintenance, design and innovation
Education - raising awareness of careers, encouraging high quality training and promoting skills
Professional - CPD certified events and publications, masterclasses and recognition through the Engineering Council of your professional status.

Membership is open to all individuals working in roles in the RACPH sector and is renewable for an annual fee.

Member, Associate, Pre-Associate - for those with technical and management experience
Technician - for those in field technician roles
Affiliate - those interested in the sector in support roles
Student - for researchers, undergraduates and apprentices
