Individuals join the IOR because they are specialists in their field. So whether you are a student, apprentice, designer, installer, teacher, manufacturer, business leader, sales person or researcher, the IOR brings the whole industry together to address common interests:

- Innovation - signposting new technologies and how they can be applied
- Environment - proving routes to net zero through improved maintenance, design and innovation
- Education - raising awareness of careers, encouraging high quality training and promoting skills
- Professional - CPD certified events and publications, masterclasses and recognition through the Engineering Council of your professional status.
Membership is open to all individuals working in roles in the RACPH sector and is renewable for an annual fee.

- Affiliate - those interested in the sector in support roles
- Student - for researchers, undergraduates, apprentices
