Businesses in the RACHP sector are used to experiencing shortages of skilled engineers and technicians, but James Bailey FInstR argues that a lack of emphasis on entrepreneurial, management and leadership qualities is going to be an even greater challenge for the future of our industry. It is estimated that in the next decade, a high percentage of our experienced business leaders in the RACHP sector will be retiring but as it takes decades to mentor and develop, this will cause a major leadership gap.  The IOR is asking the industry to consider how can we promote and instil entrepreneurial, management and leadership qualities to ensure that we can meet the realities of the coming challenges of climate change.  James Bailey shares insights and leads on the topic of “Leadership Redefined” at the IOR Annual Conference.
