Join this meeting on Monday 7th July at 3pm to find out more about how you could take a more active part in the IOR by volunteering as a Trustee for the charity.
Nominations for Trustees are currently open and each year the IOR appoints two new members to its Board of Trustees. The Trustees manage the strategic direction and governance of the IOR – currently with a focus on education and skills initiatives.
The Board of Trustees include nine members and each year two new members are appointed to ensure opportunities for different members to take part. Any Member, Fellow, Associate or Technician grade member can apply to join the Board of Trustees.
The webinar will explain the work that the Trustees undertake on behalf of the Institute, the application and election processes as well as how new Trustees are brought on through a structured induction process.
Nomination forms, declarations of eligibility and more information is available at https://ior.org.uk/about/BecomeaTrustee. So please read this before the meeting. The deadline for applications is 1st August.
Members can register to take place by using the link on the top right hand box (you must be signed into the website as a member to register)
