The IOR is inviting entries for the Beyond Refrigeration Environmental Award, which recognises innovative projects that are reducing environmental emissions from cooling systems and supporting the transition to net zero.
Open to refrigeration, air conditioning and heat pump projects across industrial, commercial and domestic applications, the award celebrates solutions that deliver measurable environmental and energy performance benefits while advancing industry best practice.
As well as receiving recognition at the IOR Annual Dinner on 25 February 2027, the winning project will have the opportunity to present its work as part of the IOR technical programme, helping to share knowledge and inspire further innovation across the RACHP sector.
Entries should demonstrate how the project addresses at least four of the seven priorities within the IOR's Beyond Refrigeration framework, including system performance, energy efficiency, skills development and whole-life thinking.
