The future of the refrigeration, air conditioning and heat pump (RACHP) industry is in safe hands, and this year’s RAC and IOR National Student of the Year Awards proved just that.

At the RAC Cooling Awards held on 25 September 2025, outstanding students from across the sector were recognised for their hard work, dedication, and achievements.

Congratulations to all the winners and shortlisted candidates whose success highlights the passion and talent driving the RACHP sector forward.

In celebration of the IOR’s 125th anniversary, an additional prize was introduced this year: each of the nine finalists received £125 from the Institute to invest in their own training and development. This special award reflects IOR’s long-standing commitment to nurturing young professionals and supporting their continued growth.

The IOR is proud to support these rising stars and looks forward to seeing how they shape the future of our industry.
