Join us on 5 November for an IOR Technical Talk featuring two presentations that explore the vital role thermal insulation plays in refrigeration and cold chain applications.
The first presentation, “Insulation Envelope Degradation in Cold Stores”, presented by Edwin Bowater MInstR and George Gaughan MInstR, will examine the causes and consequences of insulation envelope degradation in refrigerated chambers, including its impact on structural integrity, efficiency and long-term performance.
The second presentation, “The Importance of Thermal Insulation in Closing the Performance Gap”, presented by Chris Ridge will focus on the thermal insulation of refrigerated pipework, including ammonia lines, and highlight how insulation performance influences system efficiency, reliability and effective cold chain operation.
Both papers are now available on the IOR website.
IOR members attending the event can request a CPD certificate and will also receive a digital badge to showcase their commitment to professional development on social media and professional networking platforms.
