The IOR will host its first-ever in-person Talk & Tour on 19th May 2026 at Carter Thermal Industries. This half-day event will bring together delegates from across the RACHP sector to explore the practical path to net zero.

The programme will include:

  • Welcome and networking
  • Talk 1:  Systems Design for Efficiency and Energy Consumption
  • Talk 2: Scope 3 in the Refrigeration Sector & Overview of Reuse and Recycling with Sustain
  • Talk 3: Psychology of Cooling: How Technology Influences Food Retail
  • Site Tour for the Net Zero Training and Innovation Centre. (The tour will include the sustainability section, laboratories, showcase & training areas)

This Talk & Tour is the first edition of a series of in-person events hosted by the IOR, which will include expert-led talks on topics of interest and behind-the-scenes access to some of the industry's most innovative sites. Talk & Tour events are free to book and offer the opportunity to stay informed and gain CPD certification, connect with peers, and see how innovation is shaping the future of sustainable cooling.
