The IOR will host its first-ever in-person Talk & Tour on 19th May 2026 at Carter Thermal Industries. This half-day event will bring together delegates from across the RACHP sector to explore the practical path to net zero.
Hosted at the Carter Thermal Industries Net Zero Training and Innovation Centre in Birmingham, the programme blends insight with real-world application. Attendees will gain valuable perspectives on designing systems for energy efficiency, addressing Scope 3 emissions through reuse and recycling, and understanding how cooling technologies influence consumer behaviour in food retail, while getting a guided site tour of cutting-edge facilities.
This Talk & Tour is the first edition of a series of in-person events hosted by the IOR, which will include expert-led talks on topics of interest and behind-the-scenes access to some of the industry's most innovative sites. Talk & Tour events are free to book and offer the opportunity to stay informed and gain CPD certification, connect with peers, and see how innovation is shaping the future of sustainable cooling.
