IOR CEO Miriam Rodway was honoured with the Outstanding Achievement Award at the RAC Cooling Awards, held in London on 24 September.
During her 27-year career with the IOR, Miriam has played a pivotal role in many of the Institute’s most significant achievements. Her contributions include helping shape the Institute's work on reducing refrigerant leakage, helping secure major international conferences for the UK, supporting the development of IOR Codes of Practice, and establishing the IOR Industry Skills Alliance.
Accepting the award, Miriam reflected on the importance of the Institute’s membership, saying: “The commitment of our members is what makes the IOR special. It has been my pleasure and my honour to share my own commitment to the IOR and to the industry for 27 years.”
Looking ahead, she emphasised the importance of continued progress and collaboration, adding: “Together, we will continue to look to the future and ask, ‘What’s next?’”
