This new Education Guidance Note (available here) outlines an example of an effective in-house training and engineering development programme, and demonstrates how employers can successfully build their own design capability, develop future technical leaders and create a sustainable skills pipeline for both their organisation and the wider industry.

While this guidance draws on a specific employer partnership, the principles set out are transferable and can be adapted to suit different organisational sizes, structures and training providers.

IOR Education Guidance Note 5 provides a standard specification for the knowledge, skills and behaviour relevant to the role of RACHP Design and/or Applications Engineers
