Would you like to get the opportunity to promote the RACHP sector to young people? The Big Bang Fair, the UK's biggest free celebration of STEM for the next generation, is looking for volunteers working in science, technology, engineering and maths to shine the spotlight on their career and inspire young people currently in education.
Volunteers help spark curiosity, challenge stereotypes, and show young people what’s possible. Last year’s Fair evaluation showed:
- 94% of young people reported increased knowledge of what people working in STEM do
- 86% were motivated to find out more about STEM jobs
- 84% reported increased interest in STEM careers
- and 79% felt more confident they could do a STEM job

Bookings Open For Adaptation 2027

Bookings are now open for the 2nd IIR International Conference on Refrigeration Adapting to Rising Temperatures. Taking place in Birmingham (UK) from 8 to 10 March 2027, the conference programme will take an international view of adaptation strategies and bring together international experts to accelerate the transition toward a sustainable, future‑proof global cooling sector.
