Would you like to get the opportunity to promote the RACHP sector to young people? The Big Bang Fair, the UK's biggest free celebration of STEM for the next generation, is looking for volunteers working in science, technology, engineering and maths to shine the spotlight on their career and inspire young people currently in education.

Volunteers help spark curiosity, challenge stereotypes, and show young people what’s possible. Last year’s Fair evaluation showed:

  • 94% of young people reported increased knowledge of what people working in STEM do
  • 86% were motivated to find out more about STEM jobs
  • 84% reported increased interest in STEM careers
  • and 79% felt more confident they could do a STEM job

To find out more and to get involved, visit the Big Bang Fair website. Deadline for applications is 8 May 2026.
