How to get to the city centre from Birmingham International Airport
Train
Birmingham Airport is directly connected to Birmingham International Station by a free 'Air-Rail Link' monorail system. The Air-Rail Link operates between 3:30am and 12:30am daily. The Air-Rail Link is free-of-charge and takes approximately 90 seconds to travel between the two points. At Birmingham International Station catch a train to Birmingham New Street Station. This will take less than 15 minutes and will bring you right into the centre of the city.
Taxi:
Follow the signs in the airport. This can take between 20 – 60 minutes depending on traffic.
