The IOR’s latest paper on high‑temperature heat pumps is now available to download; this publication offers a closer look into emerging technologies that are reshaping industrial heat pump design and performance.

As part of this release, the paper’s author Brian Gaughan will be delivering an online talk on 10 September, exploring how ammonia–water hybrids and water vapour systems are driving new levels of efficiency, regulatory stability, and long‑term resilience. He’ll also highlight the growing importance of water‑based technologies and why they’re becoming central to next‑generation industrial heat pump solutions.

Download the paper and register for the talk at https://ior.org.uk/events/techtalk-april2025
