The IOR is run by members for members and we are always happy to welcome new volunteers to help us promote the industry and raise standards across the RACHP sector.
We are currently looking for Trustees to join the IOR Board. The role is to steer the IOR direction and make sure it is fulfilling its mission as a charity to promote and advance our sector. Find out more here https://www.ior.org.uk/about/
If becoming a Board Trustee isn’t for you the IOR has over 100 volunteers in our technical groups. You can make a difference to your profession by volunteering with us – our Education Committee, Young Engineers Network and Air Conditioning Group are looking for new people to get involved.
We need authors and reviewers who can help with some of our specialist publications – you don’t need to be able to attend meetings for this role so it could suit members with time and travel constraints.
We are also looking for speakers for our Cool Talk programme to offer tool box style talks on practical topics, improving efficiency or performance of components, reviewing some of the fundamentals.
Click here to express your interest or call the IOR on 0208 6477033.
