What is included in the registration fee?

• Full conference delegates: The conference proceedings, a data stick of all papers, short courses and workshops, a choice of technical tour, welcome reception on the 10th August, informal evening network event on the 11th of August that will include catering, lunches and refreshments breaks on the 11th and  12th August. 
• Day Delegates: These packages are only available on Monday, August 11th, or Tuesday, August 12th. They include one day of conference proceedings, a data stick of all papers, lunch, and refreshment breaks on the day of attendance. Day delegate packages do not include the welcome reception or the informal conference dinner.

Programme overview

Sunday 10th August - Welcome reception

Monday 11th August - Conference proceeding followed by an informal evening event with catering

Tuesday 12th August - Conference proceeding - evening free to explore Manchester 

Wednesday 13th August - Tours 

Conference rates 

Speakers, IIR, IOR and IRC members receive reduced registration rates. The discounted student rate is available for those studying for a first degree or postgraduate qualification.  The Article 5 Countries rate is available for those living and working in Article 5 Countries. 

Visa applications

If you have booked to attend the conference and require a letter of invitation email Adaptation@ior.org.uk  to request one. Details of UK visa requirements can be found here 

Cancellation Policy 

If a registrant cannot attend the conference for any reason, they may substitute, by arrangement, The new delegate must be someone from the same institute/organisation.

Where the registrant is unable to attend and is not in a position to transfer his/her place to another person then the following refund arrangements apply:

• Bookings cancelled on or before the 7th March 2025 will receive a full refund less a £50 handling fee.
• Bookings cancelled between 8th March 2025 and 1st July 2025 will be refunded 50% of the fee paid.
• Bookings cancelled after the 2nd July 2025 will not be eligible for a refund and 100% of the amount will be due.

All cancellations and changes of names relating to conference registration must be sent in writing to Adaptation@ior.org.uk

 Refunds will be made in the following ways:

1. For payments received by credit or debit cards, the same credit/debit card will be refunded.

2. For all other payments, a bank transfer will be made to the payee-nominated account.
