The Institute of Refrigeration is pleased to announce that the detailed programme for the IIR International Conference on Refrigeration Adapting to Rising Temperatures (Adaptation 2025) is now available online here.
Taking place from 10 to 13 August 2025 in Manchester, UK, Adaptation 2025 will explore how RACHP design must adapt to the growing challenges posed by climate change. With global temperatures on the rise, this timely event brings together international experts to share knowledge, showcase innovation, and examine how the industry can respond to increasingly frequent extreme weather events.
In addition to almost 50 technical papers from around the world, the conference will offer five interactive workshops and one short course, which include sessions on unlocking hidden value from refrigeration data and using energy benchmarking to reduce costs and emissions.
Keynote speakers will highlight the urgency of sector-wide adaptation, including a compelling case for recognising cooling as critical infrastructure and an in-depth exploration of climate change impacts on the UK food system.
